I’m delighted to be involved in this programme. Coming up from an underprivileged background, I always wanted to contribute, help make a difference and leave a lasting impact. One of the main ways to do this was to be involved with a green job, but having no higher-level education past GCSE’s - I didn’t think that this will ever be an option. Fast forward to 2025, and I’m working in a green job, raising awareness and trying to make a difference. It goes on to show – with passion and good attitude, you are halfway there.
