I work within the Emissions Trading Scheme in the Climate Change Division of the Department of Agriculture. My role focuses on reducing carbon emissions in heavily emitting industries within the UK, through a market-based emission allowance system. Introducing a carbon price incentivizes the transition from fossil fuels to renewable technology. Our aim is to meet the Net Zero targets by 2050. 

I am looking forward to joining 30 Under 30 to connect with young people that share the same passion for climate change as myself, to develop innovative solutions and to be inspired by renowned professionals in the field.
