I’m Jessica, and I’m a 19 year old environmental activist and filmmaker. My journey in environmental activism started when I was 14 years old, campaigning with Youth Climate Association Northern Ireland and Fridays for Future.

I have a diploma in TV and Film production and I’m currently studying combined studies in environment with Open University, as I hope to combine my two passions in my career.

This year I had the opportunity to film and work with indigenous communities in the Brazilian Amazon and Peruvian Andes and I’m currently working on setting up an international project based on environmental and cultural preservation.

I believe that 30 under 30 will provide me with an opportunity to grow within my career in the environmental sector.
