I am a sustainability practitioner and independent researcher,
working mainly on the Climate NI team within the NI Environment
Link. There I have supported the development of policy including the NI
Adaptation Programme, delivered carbon literacy training, and led on the
organisation and facilitation of NI’s first Policy and Research Panel for Climate
Change. In my other life I have been working on academic research
projects, including a Research England-funded project on Farm-Based Education
and a project on large carnivore coexistence. I was hyped to publish my first
article of environmental philosophy in the journal ECOS at the start of
the year, titled “Why should we believe in the inherent value of nature?”.
